What Is Polling Rate?

What is mouse polling rate?

Polling rate is the frequency at which your mouse sends data to the computer. A higher polling rate means the mouse reports movement more often, which usually reduces the gap between your hand movement and what the PC receives.

125, 500, 1000+

Best Signal

Polling Rate Tester FAQ

Do I need to disable Enhance Pointer Precision in Windows settings?

No. This tool uses relative movement while the pointer is locked, so it is intended to work regardless of that Windows setting.

Do I need default mouse sensitivity in Windows settings?

No. It is not required, and the tester can still give a useful estimate with different Windows sensitivity settings.

The tool is not working properly?

This page works best when the charger is connected on laptops and you are using a current version of Chrome. If pointer lock is blocked, click inside the panel again and check the browser permission state.
